Trivia:
On the opening date of this film, at the "Americana 8", a theater in Southfield, Michigan (on the border of Detroit), a patron shot and wounded two people inside the theater, before being killed by police officers in the parking lot. This led to the first ever movie theater in the world to install permanent metal detectors, which passing through were required for entry.

Goofs:
Errors made by characters (possibly deliberate errors by the filmmakers): Jenkins talks with a stutter throughout the movie, but when Sergeant Cantone tells him to sign the autograph or go to jail, Jenkins loses the stutter when he says "who do I make this out to?"

Quotes:
Vera: Kiss my ENTIRE ass!

User Review

I can't believe this movie is a 4.8!!

Rating:

Yeah, yeah this movie is full of profanity and I see other users saying that Eddie couldnt decide if it was a comedy, drama, etc. I personally thought the movie was hilarious and quite clever. I never really thought it was anything other than a comedy. Tell me how a movie this good gets a rating of 4.8, when an awful movie like The Thomas Crown Affair (the remake) gets a 7.0!!! Try this everyone, sit down, relax and don't try to "read" anything into this movie......just enjoy it...
